Watch this amazing first-hand cockpit footage of a Cessna Citation Private Jet making an amazing landing in foggy conditions. The landing strip only comes into view just before the pilots use their modern flight equipment to navigate the tricky conditions with relative ease.
This view from inside the cockpit reminds of an old James Bond film. The pilot looks as cool as a cucumber, while the crosswind shakes the plane around and makes it seem like he could possibly crash into the desert. Even when you can hear the front propeller squealing (really close to the ground), he makes the landing look like it’s just another boring day in the office.
Definitely a great landing, although would seem to have been rushed, think James Bond. Sounds like good friends having a great time in the sky! The pilot might have been a bit too confident in his ability, which might not be the most responsible and safe attitude to have, especially at Aspen.
This is really an awesome view from the cockpit. I can just imagine what a great feeling it must be for pilots to land such a huge and awesome piece of equipment.
Landing a Beech Baron 58 at Courchevel Airport, France. The Air Show BBC2.
I would not look forward to landing on that runway, however, the take off must be quite an adrenaline rush for sure! I am sure skiing there must also get the adrenaline going!! Have you had an interesting or exhilarating experience at Courchevel?
A front row view for a carrier landing up close and personal. Shot from the right seat of a Lockheed S-3B Viking.
I have always wondered what it must be like to land on those military carriers, especially having to break in such a short distance, with having to rely on those wires to break the speed.
